Notes & Combos

Intro

So this is a list that I initially made outside of the event but it's too weak to Maxx "C" to be played in regular high ladder so I decided to give it a try in this event since Maxx "C" is banned. I ended up having great success with it (18-2) against top tier meta decks!

Strengths & Weaknesses

PROS:

• Many different starter lines
• Extremelly resilient to Handtraps
• Nearly unbreakable board if Going First (often 4+ negates, flip all down, protection)
• Can break boards Going 2nd

CONS:

• Weak to Droll if trying to bait Ash (first replay winning through Droll tho)
• Weak to Fuwalos
• Does brick about 1/15
• Need access to GY

Typical game

You usually start combo with Schwarzchild to bait Ash, if they don't Ash but their screen turns red, it means they have Imperm or Veiler, in that case instead of making Dragluxion directly, you make Cipher Dragon, then XYZ climb to Cipher X, then activate (detach Galactic and Cipher), if they Imperm you, you're now able to make Dragluxion if you have an Afterglow or Primal or Seventh Tachyon in hand (or Galactic if you summoned Afterglow from Deck).

If you don't have another Lvl8 in Hand at start but you have a Dinos line, then you don't use Schwarzchild and open with Misc destroying a baby, make Lars + Galaxy Photon Dragon (not Dolkka unless you're under Fuwa), with Galaxy Photon, search Primal, which searchs Seventh Tachyon which searchs for Afterglow, which leads to Dragluxion, if they Imperm, you can Lars Negate, if they Veiler then you still have 2x Lars negates + UTC flip + protection

Why Dinos & Tachyon together?

Lars and Dolkka are XYZ Dragons which are not locked by Schwarzchild or Seventh Tachyon. Also you can easily make Galaxy Photon Dragon with Oviraptor and Giant Rex to transition into Tachyon, sending Giant Rex in GY directly during your turn so you can banish with Pill. You can also search Misc with Seventh Tachyon to pop a baby.

Tips

You will be able to search twice outside of Primal, once with Dragluxion, once with Galaxy Photon Dragon, make sure you search Galaxy Eternal during your 2nd search. It will turn your Galaxy Photon Dragon into Photon Lord during their Draw Phase (with Toggles ON) so you search your 2nd Primal and add an extra Transmigration so 2 extra Negates. Always banish Primal with Pill (protects from CBTG in Draw Phase)
