Notes & Combos
Finally, a new deck to try. Well, ok, I already had this with Chimera. Details.
What does this deck do outside of cheating scales because Pendulum doesn't work as a mechanic? Being ths toxic hybrid between Branded and Majespecter, of course (just imagine the tilt Primite gets once they find out that they can't hit a single monster with Drillbeam), only counteredby a single deck, Nemleria, which honestly shouldn't exist.
Now, if only this event didn't keep on giving horrible monsters to deactivate both Ostinato and Movement.
-
Crow - It banishes FS before Schuberta is up.
-
Droll - Stops Merlantean
-
Orange - Handtrap replacement for the ban of Called and Crossout. Thanks Konami. Protects from Ash. Can also be used as material for Harmonist.
-
Sonata - It's a body, idk. She's one of those Summon and forget cards. Typically I mill her alongside Soprano with Ostinato
-
Ogre - Utility HT against continous cards.
-
Ash - I mean.
-
Aria - The most toxic card in the whole deck, to be summoned by Bacha, or Pendulum.
-
Soprano - By making sure her Summon is the last thing happening on chain, so not to miss the timing, Soprano can endlessly recycle and Fusion Summon, most notably Bacha and Schuberta. Thanks to Bacha, she can also recycle any sort of Melodious sent to the GY before, especially with Ostinato
-
Refrain - The main card and target of Movement, of which I only have 2 copies of. Makes the Concerto combo with Couplet
-
Elegy - Her protection from destruction is incredibly powerful, and she's easily summoned by Bacha and Harmonist. Alongside Aria, she makes for a incredibly busted "protect the castle" combo
-
Schopina - Situational recycle material, especially with Ostinato
-
Movement - Secondary one card combo and alternative in case of Ash
-
Ostinato - One card combo with Bacha; typically I send Soprano and Sonata
-
Concerto - HOPT Fusion Summoning Spell to be added by Couplet, which can use Couplet and Refrain, even from Pendulum scales, so to set them back, and summon Bacha. Draw is nice.
-
Impermanence - What do you want me to say here
-
Purge - Wish I didn't have to use this card, since it's hard to manage
-
Diva - Yet another toxic card, although requiring a Maestra, especially in 1/2 LP amgches
-
Schuberta - Due to Etoile, she's noxiously powerful, able to shut entire decks down by nuking their GY
-
Prima - She's for OTKs and can be used to send Bacha to the GY with her "optional material" effect
-
Bacha - She's everything, and the main target of Ostinato
-
Etoile - Schuberta loop enabler amd major disrupter as well as massive abuser of Aria's protection.
-
Dweller - Due to locks, I wasn't able to summon it, but with Bagooska's ban, it's the best R4 option
-
Harmonist - Main extender although extremely weak on the ATK, she contributes to the "castle" combo, although she also works with Soprano and Shopina. She's also generic to Fairies in materials
-
Mirage Light - Filler Link with disruption, if you can afford it
-
Agent Moon - Going second disruption
-
Azalea - Likewise, but "quickier" (although double edged)
-
Goddess - Last-ditch universal removal Link-5
There is no greater bliss than playing an actually good anime girl deck. Haters can deny, but they cannot refute this truth.
