Notes & Combos
This deck basically just wins going first, and it made the Xyz side of the event faster and easier than either of the others, as most people simply scooped when they smelled the triple hand rip coming.
Seventh Tachyon and Delta of Invitation packages inspired by Ned's list.
- Delta of Invitation and Wandering Titan of Tartarus are absolutely cracked, and I was really tempted to craft a second or even third Delta because of it, as Titan sends everything all at once if his GY effect resolves, making it a difficult breaker to interrupt. Titan himself is also a fantastic search off World Legacy Monstrosity, as he provides the summoned Xyz monster with an extra pop on detach/destruction, and Kuji-Kiri Curse can similarly exploit this.
- QQ Enneagon locks you out of the UDF line, so don't extend with it expecting to get the double banish+UDF. I didn't run him at 3 for this reason, though honestly, I'm probably a dummy for doing so.
- Seventh Tachyon can grab Loptr from deck. Wow!
- Double Harr because he's the core of your control strategy and running him at one pretty much eliminates the possibility of resolving the Jorm+Harr hand rip combo turn 1 which is the entire reason everyone is scooping to you in the first place.
Garbage deckbuilding decisions:
- Naglfar is there for spot board insulation off of Loptr or Vala, but he was worthless and I don't know why I keep including him whenever I play this deck.
- I ran Boss Quest as my Mardel search to grab Boss Room as well, since I hate losing to hand traps, but it's literally never relevant if you resolve Mardel in the first place, since the only reason you'd want it is if you're pretty much stuck on Boss Stage pass and need Boss Stage to resolve.
Please don't be like me, just run more Deltas or Seventh Tachyons or QQ Enneagons or something.
