Another event. Another Goblin Grand Bashing! Going second without the worry of Maxx C is so freeing. You don't have to play and brick on Ash just to counter it. It allows you to play more engine to push through Nib or play more turn ending hand traps. Even if you handtrap your opponent, they are still going to end on a card making their Fuwa useless. So outside of that, Ash is just a level 3 body. They're waaaaay better level 3 bodies. Such as 👇👇👇

Speedroid Terrortop is one of the most powerful 1 card starters ever printed. Just in Goblins alone it will check/fetch for Imp, Ash, Droll, Purge, Veiler, Mourner and going into the Armored XYZ line, Nib. 2-4 mat Zeus easy. All without comitting to your 2 normals. It can never be searchable outside of Speedroids. It can never have a Tachyon target. It's that d@mn good. It also counters Luna Liger by going into Gossip Shadow. Got luck.. I mean I knew that all along 😅.

I love Goblins. But imo they weren't printed correctly. Gabonga should search ANY goblin card. The traps aren't bad its just the spells off Dugg are way better. Gone Wild should special itself, not tribute. Merciless and Sploder should have been the same card with both effects as quickies. The deck feels as it's becoming old and power crept. I would love some future support. A field spell to place the traps face up? A link that can be used as XYZ material like Spright?? A contact fuse by detaching any players materials??? Call me Konami. I have ideas.
