Notes & Combos

I'm still pretty new to the deck so I'll keep this short.

Engine [22]

No reason not to run max copies of Lukias, Faimena, Mululu and the spells.

I'm running Urgula and Pan at two as I want to see at least one in my opener without bricking.

The traps all pulled their weight and I wouldn't cut any of them.

I'm not running Phryxul. It performs best as a Branded Fusion target, which I'm not playing, and I don't need another normal summon. It's still good in the grind game, but I personally haven't missed it.

Handtraps [12]

Maxx "C" and Fuwalos are a must, especially in Dracotail. Same goes for Ash Blossom, as it's great in the mirror, and Veiler, as it's not OPT. It's also a spellcaster which sometimes matters.

Magnamhut is weird. Not great in the mirror, as Mululu and Phryxul are your only targets, but it's good into the other decks in the format. It also searches half your names. That said, if you fuse it from field, you lose an Arthalion bouce.

I'm not running Ghost Belle, Nibiru or Droll as I feel like they are weaker in the mirror, but they are still really good options.

Non-Engine [6]

The idea is that these should all be monsters so you have materials to fuse. They could be more handtraps, but I personally haven't felt the need.

Beast's draw is great. It's basically a free Arthalion bounce. Even better if you loop it and trigger it multiple times. It's also a spellcaster.

Dissolver has also performed well. Having one extra fusion that doesn't use your normal summon can make the difference. It's also both a dark for Winda and a spellcaster for your other fusions.

Extra Deck

I didn't get to summon Winda very often, as it needs a dark, but it can absolutely win games on its own.

The second Gulamel came up multiple times, as did the third Arthalion. I've also encountered an unusual amount of Kashtira Unicorn.

Mysterion and Secreterion are great. One is a powerful interruption, the other is an extender and sometimes an ok floodgate. They are not my go-to fusions, but they are nice to have.

I've never summoned Khaos and Filia, but they're really good in theory.

Spirit and Almiraj are there to turn on S:P. Spirit can also convert a spellcaster into a dragon for Seals.

TY-PHON is nice to have in a grind game.
