Notes & Combos

Alright I actually love this deck.

This season was basically Blue Eyes target practice, pretty sure it was like 90% Blue Eyes, 10% Tenpai. Legit didn't see any other decks lol

As such, super poly solos the meta. I don't think you need a lot of hand traps since they aren't super effective against blue eyes anyway. Deck can gas through hand traps pretty hard too so I think the matchup is probably in Memento's favor.

As far as this version goes, you're using terrortop as ANOTHER starter. There's some conflict with horse and terrortop but going second you usually try to get gabonga killed if he gets negated, if not, you can tribute him for horse as a last ditch effort. If you wanna include a link monster that offs itself to clear the field for horse, you can, but I didn't feel like I needed it. Usually you can just pop him with meme fusion later to get your xenophobia field going if you have horse in hand.

If you want to run a trap, I think the pop trap is the best one. Cranium burst is def min more IMO. Pop trap is great for the maxx C challenge and is a very strong interaction anyway for your full end board so I think it's worth using. If you wanna go even harder on the goblins you can add a second dug and another rank 3 since it's possible to make gabonga + another rank 3 off just terrortop with no normal summon but I prefer the utility ED space. Def would do it if I wasn't on super poly tho. Lastly, I took horned out because I think he's also a bit win more. Usually a dead draw and if you're at the point in the game you can use him, he's not needed. He def has some going second utility but ehhh, trying to minimize bricks.

Honestly I don't feel like I'm 100% with this deck yet, there's a lot of lines and little optimizations you can do to make it better. Don't let that scare you though because even a suboptimal board is still really strong in this deck, feels very rewarding to play since skill is such a factor with it too, especially setting up for followup turns and plays on opponent's turn, you always need to think a little ahead.

That said, I honestly don't think the deck is that hard. Just takes a little practice and it's quite intuitive!
