Notes & Combos

Wasn't feeling it with the Math Cannons like I was from D5 to M5, got deranked from M3 to M5 a few times. Swapped to da dawgs and the win streaks kept rolling. Clean sweep to M1!

Some notes:

Called By The Grave overperformed. Between Tenpai's mass of handtraps and the decks like FK with potent GY interruption, I found the card to be a precious staple outside of games where I was basically getting FTK'd.

Ariane / Pink Maid was a war criminal the whole run, absolutely aided by Called By's participation. She helps get bodies to break boards and your WR% after her sucessful resolution always spikes.

Dimensional Barrier is an unfortunate trap staple. Between Tenpai and so many decks that bite the dust to its presence, I considered the card a must during my climb. I may potentially not run it next season. Next season with the confirmation of the Chummies... we're going to run something a little fun.

Unchained Package is a multi-layered addition. Rage + Escape + Yama in grave is not only powerful on its own, but can be a great fallback plan after getting handtrapped. Sharvara pops your Rollbacks and helps your Maids dodge handtraps. The Yama -> Anguish -> Abom line completely eradicates boards and facilities excellent OTK opportunities. There's a lot more I could write on it, but just know it was excellent in this meta.

Dweller and Bagooska typically were there as a turn 1 play into pile decks and performed their jobs very well.

Underperformers were Imperm and Nibiru. Nib didn't find himself in my hand when I needed him most, and while Imperm was sometimes a life saver, I also felt an Ash would have done his job just fine without the worry of it being breaker food. IMO Droll is the only other handtrap I'm seriously considering especially if Tenpai's presence dies down.

I won't be using this Lab variant next season. If the stars align, we'll be playing... something special.
