Notes & Combos

Deck's still pretty good, I coasted thru M5-M1 vs mostly Maliss. I think people exaggerate how good Lancea and Chaos Hunter are into this deck. While they are undoubtably strong, it at least doesn't always lead to a turn skip unlike Maliss.

The list itself is very cookie cutter. I'd say the most cuttable cards are Fuwalos, Prasiortle, Photon Lord & Samurai Destroyer. The rest are mandatory imo.

Here are some general advice when piloting this deck.

  • Your general game plan is to play midrange. Use your disruptions to whittle down their resources and take advantage of Crystron's inherent recycling and GY effects to continuously have more disruptions than they have cards.
  • Do not instant surrender when they are able to play through your board. Crystron has one of the best grind games in the meta and not a lot of decks can keep up with it in the late turns.
  • Cluster is a key card in playing this deck. Aside from the popping and recycling - its continuous effect of protecting your Crystron cards from being banished plays a big part in winning against Maliss and Primite decks.
  • Your non lvl 5 Crystron non Tuners have a secondary effect to summon a Crystron tuner. Take advantage of this to extend but remember you'll get synchro locked.
  • Tristaros and Sulfador locks you into Machine types. Try to make your non-Machine monsters before activating their effects.
  • Eleskeletus is very good against Tenpai. Without the field spell, they have no way of beating over it.

Good luck and have fun :)
