Made a couple edits from last season.
Ended up taking out the chicken game(the worse out of three draw cards) and just keeping upstart and void. Often chicken didn’t fill the grave with spells unless I draw two. Somewhat awkward not knowing if I would draw into a lightning storm.
Plus there was more drolls about in master 2.
Due to less draw power added the third genroku and the second lightning storm since a tenpai and s/t removal is often essential draw to break broads.
Still liking the ratios of everything else before and keeping most hotp cards to a minimum.
Last change was 3 impulse.
Felt the deck needs a response first turn tried both impulse and imperm.
Imperm doesn’t do enough but a good timed impulse is often unexpected which either pre breaks the broad or ends their turn entirely. Leaving you with 5 cards to break the rest.
Plus Atlanteans with Moulinglacia (should be banned) or Memento with Sinkeeper is a huge problem. Without impulse you’ll probably lose.
The extra deck changes are in accordance with impulse. Seals was often useless plus conflicts with impulse.
Overall SS tenpai seems still a very valid deck for now.
Honestly don’t see how anyone makes it to master 1 with pure/handtrap tenpai, tried it again and it just constantly bricks.
