Notes & Combos

I'm poor so I don't have a 2nd Gigantic or Elf, but this deck really doesn't need it shockingly, I do recommend a 3rd Spright Starter, you can drop a Ghost Ogre/Belle for it.

The goal of the deck is simple, going first you do the usual lines that lead you to Elf + IP + either Carrot/Red or Ki-Sikil with Lil-la in GY. You preferably have 1-2 handtraps to accompany this in which Ki-Sikils draws will help with.

Going second involves handtrapping your opponent until they stop playing and pass it back to you. If you open no handtraps that can be okay since the deck can push through a lot of interruptions.

Some additional tips.

  • Save your Called Bys and Crossouts for Maxx C when going first. You can very easily push through an Ash, Veiler, or Imperm but Maxx C will stop your turn.
  • If you do get hit by Maxx C then Mannequin Cat pass + some handtraps can be enough to win against some decks. Tenpai monsters are FIRE which means you can summon either Carrot or Red.
  • Be mindful of locks, Evil Twins will Fiend lock + Gigantic/Starter will 2 lock. The Evil Twins lock is more detrimental in this deck so make sure to not use their summon too early.

Certain cards

  • Unchained Abomination: Will usually pop 3 cards on his own and has good grind game. Won multiple games just sitting on this card.
  • Mannequin Cat: Can extend or fetch you a negate. Also, makes getting kills easier by summoning a low ATK monster for you to punch over. Plenty of games won off targeting a 0 ATK handtrap and swinging for game.
  • Avramax: Not as good as I hoped he'd be but still ok. Can wall Tenpai sometimes, but you're better off going into S:P. Useful for annoying boss monsters Mosquito can't out.
  • Zeus: Take him out. I don't know why people run him in this deck. Wasn't summoned once, but I still had him just in case. However, the reality of this deck is that you're usually locked.
  • Dharc: Hilarious in the ditto.

Cards not used

  • Spright Smashers: The need to banish a monster of your own is too much. Double Cross is much better going first. Going 2nd it's also not that useful, you're going minus pretty hard to remove a card.
  • Spright Pixies: Actually pretty decent, but the deck was already good at killing so I took him out.
  • Spright Gamma Burst: Same as Pixie, but I bricked on it too much for my liking.
  • Backrow Removal: Don't need it, just accept the loss and move on.
  • Tactics: Can be good, but more often than not you're already winning even without this card in hand.
