The CHIMERA LIVES! I am SPEED RUNNING to master before the dreaded maliss creature deck coming to MD.
Relatively chill climbage session chimera is still one of my comfort deck. Here are some tips & trick and some explanation regarding some of the tech card that i choose to ran.

Playing around ash The chimera engine is very fragile and died to ashed really easily if you arent careful. Always try to bait ops ash by using the said engines before commiting your normal summon to chimera cards.

Playing around drolls Chimera are very very susceptible to droll like alot of other rouge deck, so always choose your first search VERY CAREFULLY. Going first search engraver is very dangerous move because if your ops droll you here then u get a dead tract and dead the rest of your hand. If you have frightfur patchwork ALWAYS start on that.

Playing around Maxx c/Mulcharmy Now although getting maxx c and charmy are kinda painful like in other deck, chimera actually didnt get hurt that much. You can always go
Gazelle > chimera king of the phantom beast > reset chimera fusion.
With this you can retaliate discard 1 card to offset the maxx c or charmy card draw and then u can set up the berformet into send the needed floodgate (barrier statue or diabellze) to later be revived by chimera phantom beast or even guardian chimera.

Playing around nib Chimera doesnt really get hurt that much by nib because most of the deck setup are in the graveyard. Sometimes your fiendsmith is enough to bait your ops into nibbing early too. So overall nib is not really an issue for this deck.

Chimera Version and Tech Choices There are alot of chimera variant, the azamina chimera, the edge imp chain chimera or the super poly chimera.
I personally like playing the edge imp chain version. I found this version relatively more consistent and have a stronger field floor throught alot more distruption which i value a more consistent floor that stronger than a higher ceiling with more fragile floor. But if you have super poly, i highly recomend running the edge imp chain + super poly. Because it can give the deck a better chance to play go second.
- Tech Choices
- Necroquip synergize with cornfield coatl for the sweet draw 1
- Duke of demise is a way to translate fiendsmith into extra normal summon if your early normal summon got distrupted
- Aerial eater is excellent at unbricking your hand using - fiend on your hand which is very likely to happned due to the high fiend density
