Notes & Combos

In my last 20 games I have lost to 0 mirror matchups.

Extra deck space is tight. I play a lower ceiling version to fit in contingency cards.

Topologic for easy board cleanup and good into mirror match. Cerberus is great for clearing Chaos Hunter

Darkfluid is not needed. By the time you make it you are already winning. Replace it with cards that help make plays and break boards.

I:P almost never comes up. I can think of scenarios where it may be good but in practice it doesn't matter.

3 Chaos hunter for mirror because it is 80-90% of games in Master and Diamond.

2 Lancea for same reason, but chaos hunter is better. Consider adding 1 more. Chaos Hunter and Lancea can be cut once the deck is less popular.

3 bystials, 1 of each name, as extenders and interruption. SUPER good when you get stopped.

No Allure because you don't need it. deck is consistent and you need your other cards in the mirror.

No imperm, nibiru, or fuwalos because they are too weak currently. Talents was an option but it was useless against most turn-ending hand-traps. TB-11 is almost not worth it but it plays well against the mirror match (and mirror the card). Might consider cutting TB-11 when people stop playing imperm and veiler.

Biggest weakness is currently Tenpai with anti-maliss tech (Red Reboot is super good against Maliss BTW). Mermail is annoying too and is heavily underrated.

Competent 2 card combo can play through nibiru. Most hands produce a 2 card combo. A normal summon plus 1 extender gets red ransom on 5th summon to add underground. This threatens appolousa and forces a nibiru but also gets you extension after nibiru.

I can realiably end on a 2 mat appo, firewall, GWC-06, and March Hare in hand. This seems week, but I have never lost a game when I made this board and I have non engine. The board state is very gummy and you can clear on turn 3.

Going 2nd relies heavily on non-engine. If you don't see any you probably lose. Dominus impulse to stop Red Ransom summon effect is super strong and usually forces you opponent to end on just a 1600 appo. Chaos hunter is good going 1st and 2nd because it doesn't stop your plays.
