Notes & Combos
Season 43 was the hardest season to ever grind to Masters that I have ever experienced. I am proud that I created a unique deck with Maliss. Pure Maliss was not cutting it for me due to the main deck of cards like Lancea and ChaosHunter.
I am proud to share the deck I have been cooking, MalisSmith. The whole point of Fiendsmith is just to bait hand traps to full pivot and full combo with Maliss. This deck adresses the weakness of pure Maliss by still being able to make some plays with the Bystial & Fiendsmith engine, however; this exposes you to nib and Maxx C. I believe that this is a better trade because Maliss would be turn ending if Lancea resolves. But with Fiendsmith Bystial, you will have some sort of half board.
- notes You need to start off with Fiendsmith opening hand, due to Maliss cards locking you into link monsters.
Fiendsmith ultimately should just end in either Caesar or Apo depending on your hand or if you already normal summoned. If you go into Caesar, you still have Sequence as a link 2 body to combo for Maliss.
Regained is a tech card that can be useful in the mirror. In addition, it can give a stronger grind game.
The extra deck is super tight due to the Fiendsmith package.
THIS IS NOT THE FINAL DECK. CURRENTLY BEING EXPERIMENTED.
