Notes & Combos

The funnest deck you can play this format. You frequently play through handtraps easily, and running bystials is a very big plus this format, pretty good at disrupting blue-eyes, or friendsmiths. Additionally, it is fun to destroy noobs who haven't experienced bystial war gameplay.

Honestly, this is probably the best the game has been since the release of the charmies. This deck easily plays under droll and fuwalos. Just don't bait too hard with droll or you'll die, but other than that you play under droll better than most other decks this format, which is a relief. It's nice to play a low to the grand strategy that doesn't auto lose to common threats in previous formats. The Bystials and Primites are fantastic at grinding out floodgate decks. When you are going second, full fiendsmith combo + 1 material results in 2 sends and a guy who is basically a field negate. Lacrima gives your going first end-board a much-needed update. The Fiendsmith in Paradise line made this deck worthy, also Lacrima being a normal summon that does literally anything, is insanely powerful for this version of the deck. There are no decks that are this fun, blue-eye combos are too linear, any snake-eyes variant hard loses to droll, and you'd run out of time doing memento. Despite not being as potent in the TCG because of the different time rules, Fiendsmith's Lacrima is still insane. This card represents 2400 points of damage if you have him make him with a sequence into agnumdae line, you can ensure lethal damage on your opponents draw phase if you XYZ Lacrima equipped with agnumdae + any level 6 with any spell trap on any field, the Bystial and Primite engines help a ton with this. There's so many crack and aveues this deck can do so and its so resilient to most things this format, its hard not to have fun while playing it.
