Hello Everyone! I am back on the grind(for this season at least) with Dark Magician. It has been 14 seasons(over a year!) since my last Dark Magician Master V Decklist and with college work being lenient this season, I had time to actually play the game.

This decklist inspiration came from Trif with his tweet on Pile decks being the future and yada yada so I've tried my hands on making my favorite type of DM type deck, a DM Control deck! Pile edition(minimal slop)!

In the future, I will also be making DM decklist with a focus on specific summoning mechanics(like fusion, ritual) that fits with Dark Magician along with a 40 card decklist as well. Please look forward for this continuation!

Decklist(Dark Magician Primite Pile):

Warning: This decklist is not at its final form! Dont copy this decklist card by card if you dont like some portions! It is fine to change it to your preference(More slop, More floodgates, even less DM)!

Honestly, this decklist still plays like DM but with more cards and options. There isnt a crazy combo that comes from one engine(fiendsmith,azamina, branded etc) so its actually super easy to learn and pilot the deck.

This decklist is a skeleton of an idea for Dark Magician Pile with an emphasis on control and resource loops.While the deck can work and climb, it is not at its best for now(new support and better deckbuilding).

This decklist uses a small kashtira package for their useful perks(easy bodies, removal, recursion). This goes the same with the bystial engine but its also more dragons which we want for a more consistent way of making our fusions. Lastly Primite is the Jam to Dark Magician's butter and just makes the ball roll much faster.
