Notes & Combos
Scareclaw X Arcana
A fun and alternative build of our Scareclaw that I have been playing around with in the past 2 month since seeing Arcana Force being played in the yugioh World Championship. Not the easiest combo but satisfying (for you only) if completed.
We have 14 one-card starter to get there, space for some basic handtraps, and can end on decent half board despite nib and droll. The two Arcana cards are ok to draw and are not garnets.
The Main line is non-linear depend on starter. Our goal is to get your scareclaw engine going, go into FS, try to make Ancient fairy dragon either with Visas + Lurrie or Agnimal Candle + any lv4, search light barrier. You then find 3 light or 3 dark (necroquip princess helps) and send Arcana force to grave. Revive with A Bao. Next turn A bao helps select hand and finish the kill.
We could force opponent to nib early sometimes with showing early Barrone - after they Nib we can still continue fiendsmith play - which lead to A Bao. A Bao may be able to revive a scarclaw card and continue to combo.
A decent halfboard I often end on after disruption or droll is - Moon to FS going into A bao, revive a tuner to make Barone, use whatever left to make I:P. THen on opponent's turn IP can go into an indestructable Tri-heart which is a nightmare for Mitsurugi and Ryzeal.
Or we can just find Arcana Force with small world, make A bao and gamble it away without the light barrier. :) Overall a fun deck with a lot of little connections and possibility.
P:S another deck that can host Arcana in the same way is Blue-eyes, especially with the new Kaiba card.
