The first Rated duels Striker list on MDM!
Other Striker players have definitely climbed higher in Rated duels than I have but I am happy I could register this list!
This is completely different than my Master 1 list! This list actually goes first when given the chance! However even going second we can absolutely beat any deck in this current meta (except a competently piloted Maliss but you're not consistently beating that deck going second without a turn ending hand trap)
- 3x Upstart/Metal Foes Fusion/Desires: Despite all these we somehow still can brick lol. Getting Droll'd isn't that bad because we are pretty likely to already have some spells in hand for the opponent's turn AND it allows us to Talents/Thrust (your turn 1 set is Black Goat of course)
- 3x Area Zero: After bricking a few too many times I upped it from 1 to 3 because Area Zero target Raye ACTUALLY does bait fuwa/maxx c to turn on Talents/Thrust, while simultaneously searching and potentially finding you Engage
- Drones: I hate how weak this spell is into Maxx C but we need starters
- Cyanos: I probably should drop the 2nd hayate for Almiraj or Clock Work Knight so I can link her off
- Super Poly: The most flexible breaker going first or second (I only own 2 though)
- Cosmic: I am on 0 board wipes to not brick going first, and I prefer this to MST or Twin Twister. Bonus if they use Lancea to stop this because it also baits Talents/Thrust
- 3x Thrust/Talents: 3 of both can be VERY bricky but if the opponent ever activates a card on your turn 1 then it's some of the best stuff you can be doing, and of course going second they are powerful! Extras can be sent off for Area Zero to try and convert into engine
Extra Deck:
Nothing too weird here, except I had to drop SP to make room for the extra super poly targets. Ty-Phon is indispensible and as I mentioned above I would probably drop a Hayate for Almiraj to link off Cyanos
