The main idea is going second, boardwiping the opponent's backrow using Harpie's Feather Duster, Heavy Storm or Red Reboot the traps (good luck with spells, though), draw in the opponent's interactions using the powerhouses Alpha and Pankratops and by getting a bunch of friends on the board, stack Equimax with enough attack power (and some opponent's ingenuity if they summon something in the 2nd or 4th zones or just have Spatha fix any zone issues for you) to kill any opponent who stand in his way. Should the opponent have a board with no monsters, an OTK can be achieved if one gets access to Dugares to double Equimax's power to 6400 and then overlay Dugares into Vespenato on a zone that ISN'T pointed by Equimax to finish the opponent off.

A spicy tech for this event is using Ultimate Slayer to usually trade 2 for 1 and potentially remove an opponent's boss monster.

If going first, try to either pass on an empty board and hope for survival or get an hard to out Avramax using Masquerena's protection.
