Theme Chronicle is so back. Even though its best engines are banned, Nordics still pull through thanks to the sheer number of starters and handtraps.

No Called/Crossout was interesting. I got Nibiru'd the most even though I can play around it by banishing only Alviss or with Bamboozle. One time I even had Psi Blocker on the field to declare any handtrap but I declared a card my opponent added and didn't use, then he Nib'd me (I won anyway). For everything else I had Eagle Booster (for Gullveig) and Bamboozle.

I initially played 45 cards but got Reversal Quiz FTK'd so I cut to 40 to see handtraps more often. Ironically, with 40 cards 16 of which are starters, I bricked in 4 out of 20 Duels so far (93.5% chance to open at least 1 starter in a 40c Deck going first).

The loaners were really easy to beat. Against Six Sam you just have to flip Svalinn (you don't have to use it) before Shi En hits the field. Use it ONLY if Enishi is targeting your Aesir or Rihan is targeting your Aesir/Svalinn. Both are 1-ofs so once you stop them you win. Jurrac loaner can be tricky with Misc and UCT so just draw the out (Misc only protects for one Main Phase!). Nobody played Plunder.

Gordian Slicer was leftover from my 45c list and went unused. Trishes, Donner and Avramax weren't used either.

Winstreak ended to Sky Strikers because I bricked. Hilarious.
